Leonid Limonov

Leonid Limonov - Doctor of Economic Sciences. He authored over 80 scientific publications, Professor Graduate School of Management St. Petersburg State University.

Leonid Limonov since 1993 director and supervisor of several projects in the field of municipal and regional development, including the development of regional investment programs, programs to reform the public sector, financial and budgetary planning, territorial strategic planning, the reform in investment and construction activities, development of real estate markets, in housing and utilities, as well as in the field of social protection. He was a director of several major projects requiring coordination of work groups in many regions of Russia.

Since 1995, Mr. Limonov was director of several major consulting projects performed by consortia of Russian and foreign consultants to order World Bank, EU TACIS, USAID, DFID (United Kingdom), and Russian ministries and departments.

In 2002 -2007 he is a consultant to the IBRD (the head of the expert group) has participated in preparing and monitoring the outputs of IBRD loan to the economic development of St. Petersburg, as well as (in 2005-2007.) In the implementation of IBRD projects to reform public administration at the sub-national level (in the Arkhangelsk, Pskov and Irkutsk regions), in the development of the Investment Program of the Chuvash Republic (2006-2007).

L. Limonov is the Association of Public Economics – (ASPE) Board Member, Association of Specialists in economic development of territories - ASSET, the Expert Council of the Committee of Finance Government of St. Petersburg, Council on socio-economic problems of the St. Petersburg Scientific Center RAS

His main research interests cover the areas of municipal and regional development, including the development of regional investment programs, programs to reform the public sector, financial and budgetary planning, Territorial strategic planning, reforms in the sphere of investment and construction activities, development of real estate markets, in housing and utilities, as well as in the field of social protection.
